NATIONAL INFERTILITY AWARENESS WEEK©, April 21-27, 2019

Since 1989, RESOLVE, The National Infertility Association has sponsored National Infertility Awareness Week© (NIAW) to promote and heighten issues surrounding infertility affecting millions of Americans.

Great strides have been made nationally through providers and clinics like PREG in regard to infertility and reproductive issues. However, there’s still more to be done as we expand the national conversation so EVERY couple has the opportunity to have a baby. RESOLVE reminds all of us that, “Infertility does not discriminate based on sex, religion, age, or even socio-economic status.”

This year’s theme #InfertilityUncovered seeks to bring further awareness to the millions of women and men who want to build a family, but have limited access and means to fertility and reproductive services. We are raising the flag to unmask the marginalized of society without insurance to cover infertility care, or funds to pay out of pocket, third party options, or adoption.

Orange has been selected as the color because it promotes a sense of general wellness, positive attitude, compassion, and warmth. Color studies show that orange affects us positively physically, stimulates mental activity and happiness while increasing confidence in decision- making. Orange helps all of us as we recover from life’s setbacks, disappointments, or heartaches. All of us can go ORANGE to raise awareness.

At PREG we know that despite our best efforts there can still be perceived and real stigmas associated with infertility. We are fighting to make sure couples and individuals who want a family, are not alone, or without help, or without support from trained compassionate and competent reproductive professionals.

Expanding awareness, uncovering misconceptions, and promoting hope is what we’re all about. Contact us today 1-866-725-7734.
