Local Retailer, The Pink Monogram, Opens 2nd Location
Greenville, S.C. – Despite grim retail reports and business news, local retailer and online superstore The Pink Monogram has opened a second location on Haywood Road In Greenville. “We have many customers from the east side of Greenville as well as outlying cities such as Greer and Simpsonville”, says Monica Smith, Owner of The Pink Monogram. We have been so fortunate during this recession and have continued building our profitability and wanted to be convenient to those loyal customers.”
The new store, located in Promenade Plaza at 765 Haywood Road, opens this week and will offer all the personalized items and gifts that the Augusta Road location offers. The store will offer drop-off monogramming and will also carry the Brand’s signature product, The Original Monogrammed Clogs.
The Original Monogrammed Clogs and Smith’s story have gained a lot of attention from the media. Last Holiday Season, The Pink Monogram was selected by the editors of O, The Oprah Magazine (circulation: 2.5 million, published by Hearst) for inclusion in their Holiday 2008 Ultimate O List on Oprah.com. This past July, the store was featured in the South Carolina Edition of Southern Living.
Smith has been interviewed on the Lisa Birnbach radio show and has also been featured on the radio by Katyshops in Atlanta.
